Lightbulb Porsche Satisfaction

Speaking of quality:
- Are you satisfied with your Porsche?
- How long do you own your current one?
- How long do you plan on keeping it?

Last but not least who wins hands down as the owner with most years of same Porsche?

Got mine in 2000 so that makes my ownership going three years. I am very satisfied with mine. Planning to keep this forever The money I burn into this baby will stay home!

I do not want a car made by anyone else, ever.
Going on 6yrs, its the only car I've ever 'owned' though I have driven, experienced, and worked on many others cars.
I plan on keeping the car for as long as I can. WHEN I purchase my next Porsche, I will turn this one into a garage queen .

944 8 years in September.
951 2 months
911 2 1/2 years.

I've had my "ups and downs" with the '85, but the satisfaction of owning/driving them far exceeds the maintenance costs.

Peter,
Get to work. ;-)

Satisfied? Not yet, but soon. (I purchased it in unsatisfactory condition.)

Currently owned? 4 months

Plan to own? 'til death (whichever one of us dies first) ;-)

Three months (do I win a shortest ownership award?).
Very satisfied (especially when somebody tries to pass me on an on ramp and I kick in the boost )
I'd like to get a 968 or 964 (turbo if I can swing it) in a couple years, at which point I might sell this one, but only to a rennlister or other Porsche nut.

Bought my '83 in '89. may be selling it, as there's a '95 968 conversion coming down soon. Love the car's style and quality (know some of you'll disagree).

I'll be real happy once I get to know my new-to-me 951 just a bit better and all the minor issues fixed... I've had this car for maybe three months now, before that I had a great 944S for three years. Probably not going to sell the 951 in near future
