Headlight Upgrade Package
After answering e-mails today and thinking about the damn Cibie delivery problem, I'm wondering if I should order a bunch of extra Cibies?
This is the real glitch after getting enough guys to sign up to justify minimum quantity requirements from suppliers on harness parts.
Real world install data from a couple customers says well over a 400% increase in light output, ~ 430% to 450%. But one needs the lenses to put that light to work best.
So, if a few of you guys want in on the next build and are willing to send in $100 deposits to help carry the forward inventory order, let me know.
I'm also thinking about selling the fat #4 gauge supplemental ground as a stand alone. It probably doesn't need to be covered in a fireproof sleeve as if it wears out and shorts, it is ground anyway with no positive around. It is arc welding cable designed to take heavy jig dollies rolling over it with steel wheels on concrete.
That would save a few bucks on cost. That damn fiberglass sleeve is expensive and one needs to seize the ends so it doesn't fray. You can ask guys that have it what that takes, since it is fiberglass and you can't melt it to seize.
I'm thinking $15 or $20 for the ground, plus a few bucks for shipping.

No, rfuerstenberg, I haven't seen anything from you. And with a return address like the one in your profile, I would have remembered it. Try again at wraydan@msn.com . Other people are getting through so I don't think I can point a finger at MSN, but you never know. They have lost my e-mail in the past. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />
