Default WTB: hatch lock... other parts

Brother snapped a key off in my hatch lock. I can still get it open but I need a new one, obviously. Key would be good too

Also need the plastic pieces that the arms slide into on the rear of the sunroof, don't want to pay 25 bucks for each of them.

Any help would be *way* appreciated!

Take your lock and spare key to a local locksmith. They will remove the broken key and graphite lube the lock up and test it so that your key will not break in the future. Did mine in less than 15 mins and charged me $20.

Do you mean the "guide" (part 2 at

), or a piece on the sunroof itself?

I agree - best option is to take the lock off and take it to a locksmith. I've also been able to extract broken keys myself using a paperclip with a small bend at the end to hook the key. But you could cause more damage, so I'd leave it to a locksmith.

I'm betting your brother torqued a worn key the wrong direction in the lock. The hatch key is backwards compared to every other vehicle I've ever had.
