Default Bankruptcy Sale

Going to a brankruptcy auction today, they have 3 Porsches there 911 Targa, and two 95's but no model listed. I'm going to take pics and report back what they went for. Hoping to grab the 86 911. They also have a 1950s Harley Davidson and 2 BMW Cycles.

How can i find out what they are supposed to really be? There was actually only two cars there.

a 1980 911 T VIN 91AU144109
a 1985 911 WPOAB0919FS121343

I put 4k as my bid at the moment and I was told I am the only bidder so far. They would not let me take pictures. I'm trying to find out what kind of 911 the 85 is. It was a very wide body with very wide tires and a very beautiful whale tail on it.

Any help on figuring out what kinds they are so I can bid accordingly would be nice. I don't want to let the 85 get away.

Might want to look in the Excellence market report for that model range of 911.

Are the fender flares metal or fiberglass?

I'll sneak some pictures since it is outside. I'm in love. There is another that is in the garage, it's the Targa version.

Good luck on the sale.

The "wide-body" is probably one of the 911 Carreras with the M491 Turbo-look option package. This came with the 911Turbo fender flares and whaletail.

Unless it's one of the many many many re-bodies out there. Some were not done so well. I'm hoping its the M491 though. Could be an epic score depending on condition.

Marcus, when I do step to the dark side it'll be for a Targa or a Cab in Widebody form.
