Post Dyno numbers for Guru Chip Set !

Well back some time ago Danno sent me a chip set, I just got them put on the car and wanted everyone to know that the Guru chips live up to what is promised.
To start out the day I dynoed my Auto Authority stage 2 chips that I have been running, I paid about $400 for these chips new, I pulled a 223.5hp but the A/F was off the scale rich from about 3k to 4.7k rpm and then went to a 13.5 in the upper RPMs. We did several other chip combos Huntley chips 200hp. Stock chips and boost pulled 193.3.
The Guru chip set pulled 238 HP and the A/F stayed between 13.7 and 12.4 the whole run. The Guru chips did the best of any chip set there at the dyno. I have sent Danno the graph of the run so he can post it for me, since I do not have anywhere to host it.
BTW my car has over 100k miles and the motor has never been apart, I still have the cat in place, the exhaust is an ansa cat back.

I hope Billy is still an active member... I'm going to ressurect this thread to ask a question.

You seem to have VERY nice numbers on both APE and GURU chips there, were there any other modifications done to the car before those dyno runs? The numbers you have on your APE seems to be almost directly in line with the companies claim. One other person ran them and only got 211.3whp... though I'm wondering what condition his motor was in at the time.

Billy:

Where did you get the car dynoed, and how much was the cost?

BTW: My "new" 951 has Guru chips, ReliaBoost controller and a stock exhaust.

The only other thing that is not stock on my car is an Ansa cat back. That was the cheapest exhaust that I could find and I doubt that it added anything to performance. My base line run before the chips was 190rwhp which if you add in the drive line loss then it would be right at the factory 217hp. At that time the motor had about 95k on it and has never been cracked open, it is my daily driver. My mechanic was a Porsche certified tech for something like 17 years and he has always told me that my car was one of the stronger stock turbos that he had driven.

Cliff, I do not remember the name of the place and I am not sure that they still have a dyno I seem to remember hearing that they removed it. But ask Keith or Jim they are the ones that set up the dyno day and it was a place out here in Indial Trail. But if they still have the dyno it was a great place to go it was a noce inground dynojet.
