Looks real good!

I want to start taking some wiring out of my car, just need guages and lights but im pretty nervous about screwing up, and tips on your experience?

Go slow on the wiring. Pull as much as you can. I left most of the "tails" that run into the fuse panel because that is where it gets real messy. Also, pull all the fuses not needed so you don't have any unconnected hot wires.

Final tip, start the car and check the functionality of lamps, turn signals, etc after every wire you take out. That way, you know when something you did messes something up.

You may need to make the dash more 90 degrees or add a cover. Glare from the sun light may make the gauges hard to read.

Driving in the sun is not that bad. That is why I painted it black. Raw aluminum caused a bunch of glare.

If it is bad, I would just tape a piece of black foam core over the top of the gauges.

From the angle of the pictures I can't see the top part of the speedo. This of couse may be different seated in the car.

Yea, my neighbor is cool with all my cars. That is a 78 SC with only 56k miles. Very nice. I drove it back from Oregon with him. The neighbor on the other side of me has a vintage front engine dragster that runs a flat head and powerglide. Very Don Garlits cool.
