Post snow wheels and tires for sale

Don't need'em now, with the new garage queen coming. Anyway, 4 Boxter 16" wheels, mounted with 205 front and 225 rear Vredenstein Wintrac tires. Bought 1/01, five months on the car total. These require spacers to clear 968 calipers in the front, which I will include. You may not need them for 944's, I don't know.

Paid $1190, asking $600, will take $500-how's that for an easy negotiation? These are great in the snow, trust me. Wheels are in great shape, I clean and waxed them before they went on the car, and again when I put them away last spring.

They're stock 6&7"x16" Boxter wheels, I'm sure Wheel Enhancement of someone has a photo. They're in great shape, I just want to move them which is why I priced them so cheap. They're ok in the dry, and quiet, but grip is down, certainly from my much wider 17" Cup 2's.

Damien,

I am interested in the tires. If Z-man is interested in the wheels, maybe we can work a deal?

Z, if you want Damiens Boxster rims contact me. I would put Damiens snows on my D-90's, or buy the set from Damien, and sell you the rims come April.

Tom

With a 944 that was driven 500 miles in the last three months because of the snow!

Tom,
I would be interested, except I am looking for 16x7 and 16x8's, not 16x6 and 16x7's.

I'd be interested in just the 16x7's, and Tom, you can keep the tires off that, but now it's probably getting too complicated for you AND Damian...

Of course, you also need to factor in if it's a full moon on a Tuesday night....

Andy, you responded first, so you get first shot. Eric, you're on deck if Andy punts. Andy, let me know asap. They are on the car, so I'll have to swap wheels-maybe Saturday AM?

Good news and bad news;
Erik, you would need ~1" spacers all around to put these on an '86 or earlier car.

Tom, Tom why not buy these and use them as-is, then perhaps Zoltan would be interested in your D90s.

Zoltan, You still looking for wheels? I thought you found a set for the track.
