That's the 'chassis brace'-I'd be a mite concerned if they didn't want to call it a rollover bar for liability reasons . . .

Fortunately, the driver (Steve) walked away unscathed. And his fiancee (now wife) would have been in the passenger side if she came along for the drive.

I haven't seen the chassis brace in person, so I can't really comment, but it was the only thing I knew of specifically for the cabrios

I have both Redline rollbar and the cab 'chassis brace'. Both of these products are designed to use existing bolt holes for the seatbelts -- hence the degree of protection is compromised.
Something like the Safety Devices is "bolt-on" but requires that you drill holes in the floor pan -- the benefit is greater protection if you roll. Interior dimension of a cab is slightly different -- so fit could be an issue.

Thanks Joe! I am moving on from the S2 Cab as the owner won't move on his high price. I am now looking for a coupe.
