How to access Prices from PET
I bought a PET CD some months ago from E-Bay, It works fine, but I can't see how to get pricing information.
I renamed preis.sav to preis.e...
Anyone know how to access pricing?

Indeed, this would be tremendous. I heard something where you can get European prices only some weird quirk, or they're not terribly accurate, but I just need a ball park--in Euros, whatever. I just need to know if that clip is $2.50 or $125 "Made in Germany."

You have to load a Pricing file. PET is intended for use by the Dealer...Not bootlegged copies ... So when a dealer subscribes for the PET software license the Dealer pays a fee for PET to setup apricing data base file for them. I have a good enough relationship with the Parts Guy at my dealer that when I want some prices I just fax him over a list of parts by # and Discription. This is much easier for him. I agree it would be cool to get a current file for pricing, But the dealers are using some other Software. The parts guy hates it he loves the PET software better he states that it is easier to do look ups.

Yes my dealer does the same thing here that is because they run an SAP data Base and accounting software which is linked. They can also send your orders out to the warehouse. They are now linked so they can see what the other dealers have as well as the warehouse. In the past Pet had the capability to do the ordering but that was before they were linked.

HA HA That's funny they write my order down on a piece of paper. Then they call me a week later syaing the fuel rail cap has to be shipped from Germany because there are none in the USA I think I mentioned before that the dealer around here sucks but it is worth mentioning again!!

Well yeah that is about the likes of it they can see what is available in Germany too. They had just upgraded their SAP software a few weeks ago it created a mess all of the dealers were down and unable to order parts for close to a week. There was a guy that had lost his only key to his 996 and the dealer needed to order a re-cut key and they could not do it for 4 days the guy was SOL and had to leave his 02' 996 in the parking lot at the mall or stadium one of the two. But regardless the orders from germany take a week or two to come in. At least that has been my experience on several occasions
