im a pca member, but im not goingto participate, i need a new clutch which is on backorder from performance products, murdering all the cones will be embarrassing enough without the noises my clutch makes when i shift.... maybe nexttime

hey you know you only have to shift twice.. neutral to first and first to second.. you wont be doing anything else.

well well. the metro nyc autox wasnt THAT bad. sure... we only got 5 runs.. compared to the 9 nnjr got but like Adrial said, we were actually on the course longer overall!

i didn't do very well.. my car was all over the place.. oh well - i got first place in my class again, but beating someone with a 90second run wasnt very hard.
i guess it was fun.
y friend(with the RSX) went OC five times.. live and learn.. maybe he'll go to the Aug4 (my birthday,yay) one to try and get himself a time.

i didnt take very many pics but.. one of the coolest things about this autox was that a Ferrari 360 Modena actually competed.. and i got 3 shots of it on the course when i was doing coursework (no cameras allowed? whatever!) check it out:

 

did you see when that 911 hit the straight and shot a flame out of his tail pipe? i want a picture of that one.

 

didn't catch that! i wonder if thats the same guy that got banned for a year for street racing afterwards

hey.. does anyone know what the website is for that guy that takes professional pics at the autox?

 

those 2 guys got banned for that?? im glad my car isnt very loud and noone noticed me driving home on that road or i would have gotten banned before i ever started

Simon, I thought I explained this in the other thread, more time on the course isn't a good thing. Driving slower will get you more time on the course, driving faster will get you less.

How did the ferrari do? We had another viper, a coupe this time. Of course we schooled him . I wonder what it's like to have your viper beaten by 944NA's.

metro ny pca just put up some pics on their site..
not only am i not there... but they put adrial there but a picture of someone elses car! jees!

whatever - i still like the metro ny region for some reason.. oh well

 

next time im goingto bring my real camera insted of my digital camera so i can get some good pictures... and if my clutch gets installed on time i want to try driving too i just need to find a helmet
