Question Torsion bar query. M030

Ok guys......help me out.
I am upgrading my stock 23.5 mm torsion bars to the M030 25.5mm torsion bars....does anyone know what the change in clock position, of the torsion plate, would be in relation to the stock placement of the splined ends. I.E move 1 tooth back on the 40 tooth or 44 tooth spline.

Thanks,

If you have not already started here is method to set the rear bars.

It works pretty well.

I would caution you to carefully consider your move from 23.5mm to only a 25.5mm bar. This is not much of a jump and most people find themselves back under there throwing in something larger or turning the 23.5mm down to 10mm and going with coil overs. I went 23.5-&gt;28-&gt;33 and now will pull that and do what I should have done in the beginning.

Anyway, I have a little write-up I did of the procedure but it isn't very html friendly so if you're interested, drop me an email and I'll forward it on to you.

I know that the 25.5 is not a big upgrade, 50 Lbs at the wheels. I like the suspension as it is. I use it mainly as an weekend car. The rear is sagging a little....the 25.5mm bars have been out of the donnor car since 1991....they should restore the ride. My scirocco, 2010 lbs wet, is the race car....400lbs springs all around.....not fun on the street unless you wear a kidney belt <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

Thanks
