Default Brakes question

Does anyone know if there exists somewhere a chart or archive showing the dimensions of various factory brake rotors? What about calipers that share common mounting dimensions? For example, Big Red calipers can (I believe) be bolted on to replace 951S calipers without an adapter. Are there others? Could 930 brakes be mounted with the same adapter as big reds?

Any idea if there's a table/database of caliper piston sizing? I've done some searching, but haven't been able to find any one place with all that info collected.

Obviously, that wouldn't make a ton of sense if you had a 951, but for those of us with 924S/944, if everything fits, 930 front calipers/rotors could be a nice brake upgrade (slightly more aggressive than the Rennbay kit but not quite big reds). I'm trying to do some research to see what the possibilities might be.

If you have the info and post it here or PM me, I can try to put it togehter in a table/chart/spreadsheet for future use - hopefully it will be helpful

I don't see 930 caliper as a good alternative to be used. It's even older desing than old tech big reds. Adapters are easy to fabricate, you only need to make some measurements and have your local machine shop to make these for you.
On 924/944 n/a models i would use more modern boxter/996 calipers, which are easy to get and they are even cheaper to buy than older Brembo models.
I chooce GT2 six pot fronts & GT3 four pot rears for my 951. Adapters were designed by my friend Pete and they were made by a local machine shop.

Porsche Boxster S rotors, and Lexus LS430 calipers. Read back a few pages for the adapter. User Johnny Johnny on here has them, and loves them! (does require 17" wheels though)

Rear is the easy one, you do not even need that speacial adapter for handbrake shoe.GT3 rear rotor is a direct fit. Front ones are trickier, you need to have a floting rotor with custom made hat, a little bit same kind of solution when big reds are installed into older ET 951.

Thanks - I saw that thread on the LS430/Boxster setup, which was interesting, and the GT3 brake idea sonuds cool too. My interest in the 930 or maybe 951S/928S4 calipers is that they can fit under 16" wheels. If it doesn't work, though, I suppose I could always get 17's as well, but that would add more costs.
