Default 968 powered S2 - IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!! - VIDEO posted.

VvvROOOOOOMMMM....VaaROOOMMMM!!!

Wooo-hooo!!!! Todd at J3 found the problem. The #7 pin on harness located inside the passenger side footwell needed 12V. Once he did that the engine fired.

SAA-WEEEEEEEET!!!!

The only remaining issue is the Tach is dead. No response from the tach. It might be as simple as a a connection. More to come. I hope to get some video of it tomorrow.

Congrats, did he wire it off the ignition or onto a switch like I told him I do? Funny thing is that my tach died during the swap as well. Had to buy a new one and run it off the coil to get it to work. Never did determine the actual problem.

I am not sure at this moment. All I received was a voice mail that said.."Hey Chad...here you go. (engine reving) and then he said. "Thought you might like a little boost. Later."

So cool.

I have a feeling the Tach is simply a bad connection. It was bouncy with the S2 motor. I think we crunched something.

And I'm thinking the new supercharger kit being talked about in the 968 forum might fit . . .
