I stopped by the shop today. I did not get an opportunity to record the car starting, but I managed to get a somewhat good quality vid walking around the car.

I am sooo pumped. Note -no sound on the vid. Sorry.

Default Pin #7 ?

Chad, would you have any details on the wiring. I cannot get my 968 engine in S2 firing and the document from ''lemming'' does indicate that harness wiring won't need changes in the S2->968 but your story indicates otherwise.

Are you sure the pin #7 is for +12V and not just ground? If this won't help then the 968 ECU must be dead

So far I have done the green wire bind-together trick for the ignitor. Will try the Pin #7 tomorrow.

CORRECTION: the #7 pin located in the passenger side footwell required the 12V. Todd ran a wire straight from the battery to test. It fired right up at that point.

No...the document is DEAD-ON. We followed it to the letter. Read it carefully and pay particular attention to the notes. It mentions the pin requiring 12V as it is not used by the S2.

Yes, that's correct. I did not have that wiring. Good correction on the PASSANGER footwell unit; pin #7 on the harness by the brake booster would have fried my 968 ECU

Let's see tomorrow....
