huh? why does my wheel bearing not look like catalog?

Default huh? why does my wheel bearing not look like catalog?

Looking thru paragon, 944online, etc the pictures of the front wheel bearing, both inner and outer are cylindrical....mine are conical! so is my raceway.....so....what do i order for parts???!

I thought the same thing when I saw the picture at Paragon. I even called them about it.

The ones you buy online are in fact like the ones in the picture. The inner race is tappered and the roller bearing bit fits nicely to make a cylindrical bearing set.

Yep, all new bearings come with a new race. The race is still in the hub in your picture. If the race is not worn I would recomend just using the new bearing because it can sometimes be a pain to replace. It is sweated in the hub.
