Post odd foglight problem

This is odd. When I flip the foglight switch the fogs don't come on, but after a few minutes they come on all of a sudden. (Headlight are in the upright position with low beams) Anyone have any ideas, bad connection, relay maybe?

Thanks
Christian

I'll vote for the relay, I've had relay problems before, where they had to warm up before they clicked over. That was only when it was really cold though, good luck.

Yeah, it sure sounds like a relay problem, probably with the contact points inside it.

That is just a basic 87 relay. Pull it out and carry it over to a good auto parts store and you can buy for 3 to 10 bucks. Don't get the cheap Chinese ones, go higher end like a Hella or a Tyco subsidary if you can. Makes a big difference in the internal contact points as well as how many times it will cycle on/off before wearing out.
