Sorry, I'm sure you get asked this allot but,
WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE WHEELS!
I presume they cost $$$$.
Did the Recaro's come with the car? If not how hard were they to install?
Very nice.

Sami looks shiny....
I love that color and the wheels too...
Have you noticed (in the fourth pic) the terrible tape job that the painter did around the 1/4 glass...? You'd better get a razor blade and get that off soon while the paint is still fresh.
Also, it looks as if your door (same pic) is properly aligned towards the bottom of the picture, yet it's out considerably at the bottom of the window....Does it seal properly at the roofline..?

Terry, ??? Granted the pic isn't the best, so I went out to see the car again and I can't quite find anything wrong with the 1/4 glass or the paint around it. What should I be looking for?
Also checked the door and you're right! It is a bit out of alignment on the upper part, compared to the passenger side door... is there any easy way to fix that? It seems to seal OK but closing it takes just a bit more force than it used to.
UDPride - yep, Graphite rules! Except I just found out that when my car was repainted a few years ago, the guy changed the metallic components slightly and the end result was just a touch lighter than original. This caused some headache to the body shop that performed the repairs now... so maybe I should say I have a modified graphite paint
Schnellfahrer, the original paint code for graphite is L B7V
Scott, the wheels are Mak Force, 8x18" front 9x18" rear. I had the same ones in 19" but they sucked *** compared to these... got them from a local tire/wheel shop Autotek. I believe they are sold as TSW wheels in the US. Apparently they're discontinued this model and the remaining stock was sold for rather cheap, so I decided to ditch the phone dials
Recaros came off my previous car, where I installed them a few years ago. Used some generic Sparco sliders attached to the side mounts that came with the seats... there was some fitting to do to make them go into original mounting points, but nothing too difficult. Very nice seats, so far longest drive I've done in them was around 600kms in one sitting and still felt really comfortable!

Is that some sort of wood trim I see around the shifter and on the dashboard?
Can I see some pics of that please?

Yep Sami-
I could tell the tint was slightly lighter than factory Graphite. Its defniitely still got the Graphite in it, but it is a little lighter and I would describe "silky" compared to factory Graphite which is a little more like a puddle reflection in the street. I think whatever they did to yours though looks real cool. In anway it ALMOST looks like the newer Seal Grey Metallic and thats one of the best colors out of Zuffenhausen right now.

Yep.. but the rubbing was actually because I had wrong profiles on the tires, 225/40x19 and 255/35x19 (should have been 225/35 and 255/30). The car felt much slower and heavier with them on. Didn't like it very much..
Here's a pic how they looked:

As you can see there isn't very much extra clearance
Anders, there is a stick-on wood look kit on the dash. I'm almost confident that I want to remove it, but for some reason it's still there... and maybe even growing on me...

Thanks for the positive comments!!
