Sami On first look it could just be the angle but it seems that the lower rear of the 1/4 glass seal was taped off by rounding the curve to much, allowing paint and clearcoat to cover that portion of the rubber. On second view it could be the body that I'm seeing there. Could that be a replacement rubber seal as well (?) because I can't see the metal insert that's usually there either..

On the door...Are you hearing any wind noise...?
It can't be a simple latch adjustment because the mid section of the door looks correct, but perhaps the hinges themselves are a tad out of adjustment. You'll need to 'lean' the top in a but more and probably pull the lower out a touch to compensate. If it doesn't bother you though leave it alone.....

Take care.....

Anders, just as a reminder - I just happened to be standing at the wrong set of traffic lights at the wrong time... so it was passive wrecking

Terry, I think it's just the picture, I can't find any traces of paint on the rubber... but thanks for the concern

At the moment I'm pretty satisfied with the door but I just might give those hinges a look if I get bored some say ...

Luke - right, when you go past 120mph there is some wind noise, but until that it's actually very quiet

is that seal grey? I am in love with that color on a 944... thats not a factory color though is it? I was thinking when I get my 944 I'd have it repainted that color...assuming the paint needs attention anyway.

Spoke to a friend about the 968 sero mirrors and they seem to do just the same.

HUGE difference. the elephant ears make a 'plague of locust's' noise.
