OT: Kicked A$$ last night.
After winning 3 national karting and winning everything else in sight we went midget racing 3 years ago. In the past 2 we've won trophy dashes heat races semi's set numerous track records but we finally broke through last night. Our motor is still in the shop so my brother has driving for a chasis shop the last few weeks gaining points until we get the motor back. He won the heat from the tail last night and was leading the feature when they said he jumped a restart and penalized him 6 spots. Our club is political, they try screw us everyway they can especially cause of my little brothers attitude at times. Needless to say we came back from 6 th in 3 laps and then halftracked the field lapping almost almost every car from 8th place back. 39 cars started the feature. We blew this guys motor last week and put a new one in (must be nice to be able to build your own). So it's been a heck of the last couple weeks but I just had to share. Later, Mike

Go Speed Racer.
Seriously, that's awesome. Too bad the jump to Barber Dodge is so fvcking expensive. You'd likely have to know people to get into Toyota Atlantic or something like that. Is that why you went to midget racing?
Keep on kicking butt!

we ran briggs in karts. The midget runs a 840cc honda single cam motor makes 210 hp. The big made 365 hp 165ci all aluminum Aries block. It was built by the shop that builds alot of the IRL chevy motors. We quit karts 3 years ago. Nobody runs shifter Karts around here. Dirt racing is extremely popular here in the midwest as well.
