I have another thread in the turbo forum where it has more posts.

The stand alone is an engine management system that replaces the DME/KLR. I will have no MAF or AFM, no rotor or distributor, boost will be controlled through the ECU and separate solenoid, and the stock wiring harness replaced with the new one in the pics. No more having to reflash a chip when I make changes to the engine!

The Link G4 is plug and play. I'm not savvy enough with electronics to build my own ECU

wow - just pulled the manual on that thing - good luck with that...very cool stuff...but you gotta know your $%&^ to put that thing...
