Are you sure that isn't just painted in?

well, it ain't my car so not 100% sure...but someone had this posted over on pelican talking about tires and I noticed that - someone commented that there was a sticker type kit for this - just peel them off and stick them into the letter. That would be ideal...no way am I going to try to paint that in there...not worth it...

Pretty sure it's painted in. The one I've seen in person was painted in and it looked like crap up-close because it wasn't done carefully.

If you had a brush, some thick paint, and a cleaning rag, it would be easy. Dab it in, wipe out the extra, let it dry. (I'd open the hatch to keep the paint from running too much.)

Yeah, good luck getting a sticker to hang onto that rubber. Youll never be able to wash the car again.

Why not mask the spoiler, use an x-acto to cut out the letters, and paint it?

i've seen a sticker kit for the spoiler someplace once before... but don't remember where exactly. So, they do exist... somewhere.

Thats a sexy picture too.

Masking off spoiler and painting sounds like the easiest cleanest way to me.

Hey, that would explain why I couldn't get those two eyeball stickers to stick to the end of... never mind.

They are painted at factory or dealer? You would have to use a paint that sticks to rubber. When I used to dive, we had a paint that we could use on rubber wet suits. Do they even make that anymore? God it smelt awful. Probably toxic as hell too.

Post Logo Paint

Go to a hobby shop or a parts dealer for touch up paint. You can get quality paint and use paint brushes like you would with model cars. I painted the logo on the white 944 about 1 1/2 years ago. I would rate it at 7.5 now on a 10 point scale. No cracking, some dulling of color. No need to mask off and try to use spray paint unless you feel comfortable, know the paint, and have some experience painting small items.

It was easy to paint, just make sure it is dry before you apply the next coat. I put on 3 coats plus a clear coat. A little different looking since I also have the Porsche logo across the top of the bumper. Will try to find some pics, my son drives that car so I only see it every few weeks.
