Yeah, that racing TDI engine is awesome.

And I don't understand why everyone (in the OT anyway) is complaining about F1 this year. I think the racing is better than its been in 20 years. They were 3 wide for 5 laps last week.

I would rock it, but it doesn't start to make any real power until 9,000 revs

Would be pretty sweet if it wasn't for the required rebuild every few days.

The racing wasbetter. Now that everybody is building super diffusers it will turn into a procession once again. Even Bahrain wasn't nearly as exciting as the earlier races this year.

I don't tune in for bump drafting though. Its just the nature of the cars that they can't run nose to tail. I'm alright with that. I just like to see them all competitive and for the most part, they all are.... A lot of teams are changing their whole programs next week though. Spain will be a good race.

Bump drafting is most definitely not my thing. I just found myself a bit bored with Bahrain after the first two races. The last thing I want to see is spec racing with cars so evenly matched that there is a new winner every race. Spec racing is for participating, not spectating. On the other hand, I hate to see a guy like Vettel stuck behind a rolling chicane like Trulli because of aero issues.

I agree with you 90%. The 10% is on the different winner every race. That IS what I want to see. Last year the "racing" was miserable, but I liked Hamilton and Massa (though I don't agree with all the hype he gets) going after each other. I don't like the spec either. It should be setup where the teams have enough control over their cars that they can make improvements and go faster...... creating different results every race. I think its as close to that now as its been in a long time. A lot of the teams have big things in store for Spain next week. Its the return to europe, and rumors say teams were waiting for the return to unveil the new goodies. We shall see.
