Strange thing I haven't seen before: I got on email notification of a post in a subscribed thread, and when I went to view the thread, the post isn't here. Three other replys that appear to have followed the post in question, but not the post I got in my notification email.
For reference purposes: It is the thread I started entitled "Thoughts on transmission oil change", and the reply notification I received was

Mild climate you can get away with a relatively "heavy" gear lube. I've used Mobil 1 75W90 (good in the summer, clunky in the winter); and Redline MTL (good in the winter, seemingly too thin in warm weather). And then there's Swepco stuff.
I also used a Lucas Synthetic 75W90 and it was like the Mobil 1.

Either an ADMIN, or the poster deleted it, if you make a post, click on edit, click on GO ADVANCED it will give you the option to delete your post... I also believe ADMINS have the option...

The log shows that Potomac Greg deleted his own post. As a general rule mods do not delete posts unless they contain very objectionable material.
