Post O.T. what has the world become

i work at a custom woodshop in an old boat making factory. my company shares the building with many small buisnesses. and it seems someone wondered off and found us and decided to steal a few misc. things. of which included a bunch of cd's i had accidently left out, including the cd player. a digital calipers, and get this a half eaten container of donut holes. i guess its not a big deal but i am really pissed. then i found out that last week someone decided to slash a bunch of tents at my church during a youth sleepover. WTF!! what posesed someone to do that. who knows maybe it was the same people who took the cross off the entrance and threw it in some ditch a few miles away, a few years back.

sorry for the completly off topic topic but i just needed to vent.

I know how you feel. My truck was broken into at school and someone stole the radio. Although I was mad that I lost a 10 yr. old stereo that only played CDs half the time, I just couldn't get over the fact that someone was inside the truck and left blood on the passenger seat. Whatever happened to personal property rights?

I know what you mean I had somebody break into my garage a while ago. Unfortunately there is not much you can do about it so I just try to let it go and move on.

Years ago someone broke my car window to steal the stereo. The damned stereo didn't even work!

BTW, are you selling your car Tim?

The donut holes are just a kick in the junk afterwards. What a douche. There's nothing worse than getting CD's stolen either, he probably doesn't even listen to the same kind of music.

Many years ago, my dirt bike was stolen from my back yard. This was on top of a camera being lifted from my overnight guest's unlocked car a few weeks earlier plus somebody routinely lifting the corner of my trucks tonneau cover to see what's inside. Anyway, I went all over the neighborhood asking if anybody saw somebody pushing a dirt bike away.

When my wife finally came home, I met her in the driveway and told her to sell the house we're moving. And we did.

Same town (like forever) but better section.

But don't let the illigitimate people wear you down. Most people are decent, we just don't notice them, just the a**holes.

it's a bad thing. I'm lucky enough now to live in a place where i could leave my keys in my car and it wouldnt get touched.. I still dont and still lock it.
I had an entire set of Snap-ons stolen- took the whole rolling case and all.. I figgered they needed them more than me..

Live and let live.. I'm older and wiser and more willing to forgive than I used to be.

oh there are many reasons

1: Good people getting into bad situations. Drugs. Alcohol. Unemployment. Depression. = theft.

2: Above person has children. Children tuirn out to be as bad or worse.

3: Cycle continues.

4: Beating the living **** out of someone who steals your stuff makes you fell DAMN good, but it doesn't stop the cycle.

Solution?
