the R8 is so f***ing awesome!! I saw the Team Joest R8s in Texas up close and personal at an American LeMans race and the muffled roar they make at 180mph is sweet! they simply blew away any other cars out there, even the (then) new Panoz LMP. In the pits, i was literally 6 feet away - I got some great photos that I'll scan if anyone is interested.

$815K and reserve not met, but check out the high bidder's previous winning auctions.... car posters and playstation addicts.... hmmm, in fact most of the bidders look to be a few $$ short of their bids if their previous auctions are any indication! You really gotta wonder about eBay sometimes. These auctions are probably used as cheap advertising by the seller.
