Rear Suspension Torque Values
I am finishing buttoning up my '86 N/A after upgrading to 30mm T-bars. I cannot seem to find the torque values in the factory manual for the following bolts:
Thanks!
- Bolt through the bushing where the trailing arm meets the torsion bar tube
- Bolt connecting the sway bar to the droplinks
- Bolts connecting the sway bars to the torsion tube (out pressure on the rubber carriers)
Thanks!

1. 45 ft/lbs.
2. ?
3. 17 ft/lbs.
I will admit I mostly just tighten by feel. I also use a paint pen on all suspension nuts/bolts so I can do a quick visual check to see if any have loosened.
