Angry Ok W/T/F...Damn thing won't start! Grrrr...

Here is the deal; My wonderful '79 924 will not start. I've done all the trouble shooting from my shop manual. I'm getting spark to my plugs, I'm surely getting fuel to the block and I know my firing order is correct. Think it might be a timing thing? I've been T/Sing Four days solid now and I'm quite the ticked off person at this point.

Yes sir. I've got wet plugs. My baby is flooding. I pulled the plugs after trying to start her and the damn things are drenched. And know I've noticed fuel leaking into the exaust manifolds.

You don't have a baseball glove or an old penthouse caught in your intake, do you?

I wish that were the problem. I pulled apart the whole intake. No baseballs.

Man, that's a puzzle. Spark plus gas usually equals fire. Strange...

Maybe the ignition timing is way off. Can anything slip, like a sensor?

do our cars have a timing mark on the crank pulley or something that could be examined with a timing light?
