Post I need a Momo Steering adapter.

Does anyone know where I can buy a momo steering wheel adapter for my 89 944 NA?

I see they have them at 9xauto.com but they are 69.95 +sh I hear they are cheaper elsewhere.

Any help would be appreciated. I got a pretty cool MOMO wheel off ebay but no adapter.

Thanks

Try <a href="http://www.eurosportacc.com" target="_blank">www.eurosportacc.com</a> -&gt; ~$55 or so.

Vertex sold me one for my Turbo S w/a Momo Competition wheel- of course, no one wants to sell you an adapter for a car that originally had air bags- tell them it's a track-only car and that the air bags had already been removed or something. I wouldn't want the original air bags in my car anyway, consdiering how old these cars are- damn rocket fuel bombs just waiting to smack me in the face and/or break my wrists (YES! I know it's happened)...

Hi,

I am looking to know if a 1999 boxer steering wheel or a 933 steering wheel will fit my 1986 944?

Anyone help?

Thanks!

That is what I was going to suggest. They had them listed in the classifieds for ~$40 I think. Send an email to AlbertGT3@aol.com or call them at the number listed on their site.

I have one, in the box and slightly used. Still looks brand new, though. Complete with all of the bolts and hardware. It is off of a 1983 944 that had a Momo Monte Carlo in it. $30 plus shipping and it's yours.

I would like to get it as long as it fits the 1989 Model NA 944 non Airbag model. Anyone know if they are compatible? What is the part number?

Thanks

The early (83-85.1) and late (85.5-89) 944's use different hub adaptors.

Momo:
Early - 8010
Late - 7004

These are_not for use with airbag equipped cars.

Good Luck!
