Default Update re: my transaction with Puffin04

As some of you may know, I have recently had some concerns about a deal I did with member Puffin04 ( https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...en-sparks.html ), and I'm happy to say that I have an update - and its good news!

Even though I hadn't been able to get in touch with him, I'm happy to say that Steffen did send me the dash and it showed up today. The dash was in good condition and well-packaged, so I owe a thank you to Steffen for ultimately doing the right thing and sending the dash.

Thanks also to everyone who offered advice and support while I was waiting...Todd, I think I'm all set on the dash front, but Marc, I'll be in touch about the door panels soon - I'll need to save up some money for them

Mike,
Glad everything worked out.

Man I hope I don't get a bash thread for every part that doesn't ship out in 3 weeks!

Just kidding, man, but definitely some good news for you and seems as if all is now good. Look forward to seeing some pics of it installed.

btw...I have some 924 door panels, with PW switches, handles, map pockets...in great condition, just collecting dust...good luck with the install.

Decently so.

I had a bit of a problem (OK...a hell of a problem) with the first NA valance, but sourced another one last week from a local 'Lister who was kind enough to give me his off his car (Thanks Mike). I will be doing a re-scan/re-plot next weekend and that will get me real close.

I know, I know....but the day job has gotten in the way as of late, but I give you my word. It WILL happen.

I thought you had your priorities straight. Lets recap,
#1 Beer
#2 Hookers

What, you were expecting more?????
That's it, end of list.

Notice a day job is not on the list ANYWHERE!

Got it,... good.

Thanks - I hope that my previous thread didn't come across as a bash thread- I was just trying to find out what the story is and hadn't heard from him in 2 weeks. I took the lack of a response as a sign that the deal had fallen through. Clearly, I was mistaken, and I hope that this thread rights whatever wrongs may have been committed by my previous thread

The plan right now is to eventually send the dash and panels to Rob Budd and have them recovered (door panels done to look like RS America). I'll keep your offer in mind and let you know if I can use the door panels. Thanks!

why dont you see if you can go to the first thread of the other thread and either delete it, or post an update in the first thread, and lock the thread.

Maybe a kindly moderator will merge the threads, then lock it, then bury it under peat.

I posted a link in the first thread to this as well as a brief update there - should cover the bases there right?

moderators, please feel free to merge/lock/close these threads as you see fit
