Is there any market for an original 87 Blaupunkt Charleston?

My son wants to put his Kenwood Excelon into the 944S. The original Charleston works great and has the OE manual. Is this AM/FM/Cassette player thing worth anything? He's been using a CD adapter and well, it's a bit out-dated. There must be someone that is into original stuff.

Maybe in 10-20 years? I would guess the only interest would be from someone who needs an original unit to complete a restoration. I just can't say how many guys are restoring these right now. Porbably not many.

Yeah, I'd guess the only people interested would be the Concours nuts, who get extra points in competition for things like that.
But they are around --- maybe advertise in some of the club magazines?

Its probably worth next to nothing but still certainly worth keeping if you replace it.
