Deepice your right. I vaguely remember seeing something a while back while changing the light bulb for the clock.

I think it's time to take Luke's suggestion and have another beer.

I can tell you that you need to be care full pulling the pannel off of the climate control it has to come off first and there is a screw just behind the thermostat you can find a great set of instructions with pics in the tec section of rennlist or I can take some pictures right now my dash is in the living room. I can email them to you if you like

I'll be needing to do that in the near future. Keep us posted on the procedure and make sure you take lots or pic. I don't care to read much.... only have to when it doesn't work. They always package items with spare parts! Right?
