How much had you had to drink? Unfortunately, it doesn't take much at all to start having pretty dire effects on driving outcomes. Study after study has shown that even a small amount of blood alcohol will start slowing your reflexes and response times long before you feel anything.

One way of looking at it is being grateful it was a lamppost and not a pedestrian you hit... if you end up a better and safer driver for the experience, it might actually be a pretty cheap lesson. We all make mistakes, it's a question of what you do with the experience that counts...

Who knows, DC Auto has some new, most "recovered" or maybe "recycled" would be a better term...

At that price does it really matter?

Well,actually it does matter because if they are used at that price you can get a complete used shell.
