I really wouldnt worry about the wiring, it was very simple especially if you follow the Porsche Hybrids Wiki, it may seem confusingbat first, and I was nervous too, but once you have everything in front of you, it really is simple.

by the way, for headers i'm going to try these, i have no idea if they will work or not, but i could probably just spin them around and have them dump forward if they don't fit going back...

Im not sure if those will fit, they kind of look like it, but if you actually see how close the steering shaft is you might reconsider those.

When I get my car back from the exhaust shop, ill take pics of how my headers fit so you can get a better idea how the steering shaft fits between the header tubes.

I found a picture of the header off the car so you can get an idea of what it needs to look like. I know your installing an LT1 but it still needs the same style opening between the last two header tubes. You can see how wide the opening is there and that is even a tight fit in there. Hope this helps a little. I get other pics hopefully tomorrow if my car gets done.

hmm, okay, good to know, i'm thinking i'll probably have to run these headers backwards, but i might give modifying them a try to see if a little cutting and welding will get them to work

thanks!

Here are the pics of the steering shaft going through the headers. Kind of bad pics but theres not a lot of room to take them! Hope this help a little more!

Are you sure the hood won't shut. I know of a few people with stock LT-1 intakes on there 944s and the hood will shut fine with no scoop.

oh i'm sure, i put a straight edge from each edge of the fenders right in front of the throttle body and it was about 2 1/2 inches higher than that flat edge...
