Post Porsche Unleashed NFS

I bought it today and I picked the 88 turbo to race my first race, I picked cars from the same era and I raced against a 944 and a 944S. How can I pick these cars? And where is the 968?

Most of the cars are available for DL from EA Sports main site (they're included with the game, but need to be turned on in some cases.. and in others, it's just a mask that's running on the same 'chassis' as yours).

You can race online too (for free) - so check out that (through the multiplayer menu) sometime. It's been a long time since I've placed it but I rememebr getting throughly burnt out at one point..

The 928GTS, 959, GT2, and GT3 must be download from ea.com or www.needforspeed.com

The other cars that you can't access through a single player game must be unlocked by doing evolution mode.

However, you CAN access all tracks and cars by joining or hosting a multiplayer game!

Bewarned however, someone who has finished evo mode, and owns thier own modded cars will whup your ***.

So, you wanna race? pick a time.. i'll give you my IP...

ah ha - i have the answer to that..

Which speedo are you reading???

The 3D speedo on the dash, the analouge HUD speedo, and the Digital Speedo ALL show different readings.

The only speed reading you can trust 100% is the digital speed readout.

I've gotten my modded 951 over 180mph easily in the industrial zone.

New video drivers? I had this problem before as well. I ended up having to run the game in Windows 2000 compatibility mode and it ran perfectly. Since I formatted last time I haven't had to do that again though? I dunno...

Works fine for me in XP; what video card are you using? Is Service Pack 1 installed?

I have been playing a little and everyone like to run the gt1. We all need to fill a game room with the 944 or 951

How can you get your 944 Turbo up tp 180MPH? Last time I checked you cant change the transmissions or play with the gearing for the 944 Turbo. Plus at 140mph the rev-limter is pegged therefore its out of gear and the car will not go any faster.... at least this is on my game. What version of NFS PU do you have?

To get the 951 past 140mph you have to buy the high speed tranny.

Go into a single player evolution game and go to the section where you can buy parts for your car. The new tranny should be there. After you buy it dont for get to install it. Then when you race you should be able to get it above 140

I've forgotten: can you buy a transmission quick shifter for the 944 in the game? I'll go check.

Cool

Create a player called "dakar" and you will have access to almost all of the cars.

Or download this, and start the program with it.
