Default Wheels from '85 911

would be early offset and would not work on my 87 951, right?

Please tell me this is the case so I don't buy another set of wheels

I saw those on CL - and I think you're correct. I'm 99% sure that's an early offset car.

My advice would be to spend that money elsewhere

btw at the shop today they descovered my wheel bearing in the left rear was loose(the nut). Thankgod we caught that. He tightened it right up and then put a alignment on her. She drives SOOO much better now.

I know...I decided I'm gonna pay a bodyshop to make my nose panel fit in the next week or so. I'm willing to drop ~$400 to make that happen..should do it.

I probably wouldn't get the wheels even if they did fit as I'm happy with what I've got. I have always liked that style wheel on an n/a...

btw: was great gettin together yesterday. I just wish my car had a body as nice as yours........
