I'm looking for an early style dash that I can get re-covered (planning on working with Rob Budd for this - everything I've heard and seen tells me he'll do a fantastic job).

If you've got one, shoot me a PM please.

Ah, damn! I just sold mine! I have extra door panels, though!

I've opened a dispute with paypal and escalated it to a claim...now I guess I need to wait for the paypal process to resolve itself.

I'm a little bummed about all of this - I've been buying and selling on here and 924board.org for over 3 years now and over that time, I have done thousands of dollars worth of deals (almost all my interior pieces, front shocks, a fender, euro bumpers...the list goes on) and I have never had a problem until now.

Anyway, once I get this resolved, Marc, I'll shoot you a PM about the door panels - I might be interested in them as I think my plan is now to get the dashboard recovered and get RS America-style door panels. I need to get my money back first though

thanks...glad I could help keep this hassle from happening to someone else, particularly someone who was actually waiting on a part.

you might want to check 944online.com for the head...I think they usually have a decent stock of used parts at reasonable prices and they're great to work with. I've bought from them several times, and the only issue I ever had is that UPS lost my shipment once, but they helped get it sorted out and sent me new parts

also, dcauto.com has good inventory of used parts, but they're prices are a little higher - I guess they think its paying for the convenience of getting something that's guaranteed to work right away (which I have done several times)

Mike, just let me know when. I am not sure how rough shipping costs would be from ATL to NYC, but I'll send them to you for the shipping price alone. Let me know ahead of time- my parts stash is about 2 hours away and I usually need to take a drive down to gather the goods.

Good luck with this paypal crap.

Thanks Mike! I might also try 944ecology since they are also in NY! I just remembered about them because I started reading your reply about DCAuto, LOL!

thanks Tod - I'll shoot you a PM once I get my money back (I'll need that to pay for the dash and shipping). I'm looking to have it recovered anyway, so not a big deal if the dash underneath isn't in great shape so long as it isn't warped or disintegrating underneath
