Default Feeler: Anyone interested in Brake Adaptor Kits?

I have been working on an adaptor to get a set of 986 base brakes to work on my 944 2.7. Had a set that didnt work entirely well so i figured i should make my own. I could make a couple more sets up if anyone is interested. Would be machined out of 1.5"x1.5" 6061. Cost would likely be around 100 for a pair. Would be plug and play kit and the only thing other than the adaptors that would be required would be the calipers, 951 base rotors and bolts. Thoughts?

Regards,
Casey

Not a bad idea but is that a cheaper solution than getting the spindles and hubs from a late offset 951 to accommodate the calipers?
I know that it won't work that easy on an early offset 944 because I went through that route.....'86 951 brake upgrade.

Dimi, it is likely a better solution as the 986 calipers are monoblock and accept a wider array of pads... this would also use less parts and wouldnt require an alignment for install(replacing spindles).

Than it is sounds like a good solution....too bad it wouldn't work for the early offset 944s. Let me know how it goes!
