Caster and camber on lowered cars
My S2 is lowered about 1". How should this affect the recommeded caster and camber settings for front and rear, if at all?

Yes, of course, but my question is how does the lowering affect the recommended settings for any given situation. In other words, all other things being equal (tires, intended use etc.) how would lowering affect things? More/less camber required? Caster? Shouldn't affect things at all?
Another way of thinking of it is this: How would you interpret (say) factory recommended settings if you had a lowered vehicle? Would you (say) tweak camber up or down a bit to get roughly the same handling characteristics?
I was just looking for some baseline settings to start experimenting with different alignment settings, and I was looking at starting with the factory recommended spec, but wondered how the fact the car is lowered would affect this, if at all.

You would run the same settings at any ride height. However when you lower the car the caster, camber and toe will change. So you will need to adjust these back to regain the same setting you used before.
