Just a piece of advice: Never leave anything in your car. Not a dime, penny, and especially not a DM, somewhere like the cassette box or glovebox.

A thief will look in all the obvious storage spaces in your car: doorsills, console, ashtray, glove.

I always leave the Glove, ashtray, and casssete lid open and in full view, when I leave the car for the night. When the car was broken into, that's how I found it. If a thief sees you've taken the time to show there's nothing there, he won't waste time trying to brake in to look. Also, I'm getting the Broadfoot quickrelease steering wheel hub along with the 968 CS wheel. try stealing it now, punk!

Hi Rich,
Very true - My daughter just had her Honda Civic broken into for a couple of textbooks that were left on the back seat in your fair city. (Granville Island) This was yesterday, in the afternoon in broad daylight.

BTW, check out web page for quick release systems, hub kits and wheels - this may be construed as nepotism or a plug since it is my son's company but I have used this system on my Pcars for several years now and it works well.

Most times I cannot spell my name.. even with spell check. (it missed ora)

Crazy, some days I can spell great, others, I miss easy words! I hated spelling and grammar in elementary school.

I think a radar/laser detector and a Cross pen has you all beat.

I eventually lost the pen, but the detector is still in service.

My car's PO was a military pilot stationed at several European bases. One day I was removing the radio and EQ and I spotted something shiny wedged into one of the crevices back there. I used a coat hanger to pull it free--turned out to be a live .45 caliber round!!
Sure glad it wasn't closer to the turbo!

The only interesting thing I found was a woman's phone number under the ashtray. I was real glad I found it while my wife was there. The po was "happily" married and got rid of the car because his wife wanted an suv!

The coins under the seat are used as a "Christening gift" You put them under the driver seat when you recieve and name your car. And to never never remove them. My parents told me something to that effect years ago. They are still there to, 2 10 pfennig coins.
