Congrats Pete! I'm gonna miss the only 944 I ever liked in white.. Having done several 1000+ miles trips, I hope yours is completely uneventful.. (I just got back from Omaha Sat, and going back tomorrow!)
Just in case- print out a copy of the Porsche emergency list and throw it in the glove box- If you dont have it I have an older copy- I think Matt Olde has it up on p-caronline(?)

Feel free to stop into Springfield IL as well on your way back. I have tools, a great mech in town and I'll have a ice cold beer waiting. At least you'll be in the picture NEXT year at 944 fest as well!

Yes Virginia- we have Rolling Rock in Illinois too...

I'm gonna have to play with the avatar thing tomorrow. I cant get the pic size and the file size right. I'll get some good pics of the new ride in a few weeks.
I'll be doing the same as you, I'm picking up the car in Colorado. Any tips for the drive back?
