I know Pelican Parts sells them. I got a couple for my 911, and I think they're the same.
<a href="http://www.pelicanparts.com." target="_blank">www.pelicanparts.com.</a> Try searching for them, or clicking through the categories.

Dealer sells them, this is my second lighted key head (different car). The one I bought from the dealer has been usefull so far. It wasn't expensive either, I think I paid $36 for the key head, blank, and getting it cut which took about 5 min. total.

Just took a look at the photo on Pelican and that does NOT look like my key!
My key comes to a point, sort of like this ^. The key on Pelican comes to a different sort of point. Basically it "steps down" from the full blank width to a narrower width and THEN it goes to a point. Also, it almost looks like a mirror image of my key. The "meat" of the metal is on the opposite side than on mine. My car is an '87 but it says it is good for all after '85. Anyone else compared yet? Should I take a $30 chance?

THanks JG, I will.
I presume if you buy the whole key they include the bulb and the battery, right? 'Cause they are pricing them separately in the online catalog.

Yeah, they have the key blank, which I bought a couple of, the key heads (which come with battery and bulb) and the whole key set (metal blank with head).
Tell you what though. I just realized that what I did was to pull the metal part out of my existing key and just stick it into the new head. Unless you have the fixed head key. In which case, I'd buy the blank, but do get an extra battery and bulb or two. I got mine last year, and my battery's dead. I don't know how long the bulb will last, but it's worth getting another one now to save the shipping when it does blow.

If you have a decent key and just need the "guts"...<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6777&item=1875661521" target="_blank">try this</a>.

It is one of our auctions! Those are the components we remove when we convert our customers' keys. But, since so many people asked, we will be selling new converted keys - hence the new unused components.
