Gauges stopped working after Indiglo install?
Just spent the last couple hours installing Indiglo gauges from ProCarParts but now my speedo and tac arent functioning! <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" />
My speedo bounces around 20 and the tac bounces between 1 and 2. Other gauges are fine.
Done for tonight and will pull it apart tomorrow but before I do, was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what would cause this. I suspect a connector is not fully engaged. They do seem to respond just a tiny bit to acceleration but barely.

When I installed some white faces into my cluster, I broke some of the gauges, too. As far as I can tell, there's a spring in each one, and I think I over-extended some of them. I think if you rotate the needle to its max point (or just to like 7000rpm) and let it go, it should smoothly return to 0 by its own power. The gauges that did not do this were the ones that were broken. I don't know if this is the same problem for you, maybe it is just a connector issue.

Got'em working! Whew!
Must have been the connectors. After re-seating them I got the boost gauge working. Couple more tries and everything was spinning fine.
