Default Loud noise coming from fans?

well my car doesn't over heat, but when i turn the car off the fan go and it makes this horrible noise with squeaking and..ugh, like tumbling rocks kicks in.. could this be due to lack of coolant? or a more serious problem?

Post Fan bearings

It sounds like a fan is going bad, bearings messed up and you just have to replace a fan. Rocking noise would be from where the fan is not rotating a correct 360 degrees and is out of balance, therefore knocking on the fan cover. BE CAREFUL WITH THE FANS WHEN WORKING AROUND THEM! Disconnect the battery before sticking your hands near the fans. The fans can switch on even if the car is turned off and if your fingers are in the turning range your hand/fingers can be cut.To check if it is one of the fans going out of whack, unplug the connection to the fan {at the bottom each with an individual connection}. Check manually just by rotating the fan with your hand, if it doesn't feel firm and is out of balance, replace it. Or, disconnect a single fan, motor the 944 and shut it off after monitoring till normal heat up and you know the fans would come on. If there is no noise after shut off, you know that is the correct fan and replace that fan.
If it were a coolant problem, the engine would overheat and you would have steam and overflow coming out of the reservoir.

I also drilled a small hole in the bushing area and put a small amount of lube in the hole. You can then lube it as needed. I have done this on heater motors and worked for many years never had another problem with the heater motors after that.
