Glad to see 9X is getting on the board - Welcome Guys!

This is a rather large opportunity for you (9X) to reel in a bunch of fanatic customers...I will be watching this development closely.

I too have noted a matter-of-fact attitude and high prices. Maybe a little "voice-of-the-customer" will help you get your heads around your product offering and how fanatics like to be treated.

Just ask Skip, or any of several other reputable sellers that are regulars here.

OUR LATE RESPONCE:

RE Our Higher Priced Items.

Buyer-beware! Always know what to buy from one dealer and not to buy from another. We developed key products that are popular and priced right. Other products are there as a "Gravy" to a main "Beef" because they are useful in repair or performance. These products are inexpensive accessories that are priced for the foreign buyer and not really intended to attract a local
interest. However, there are items from big mail-order houses, (I will not mention the name) that are priced hundreds of dollars above MSRP, and no
one talks about that.

Buying from UK "pointer".

When buying from the UK you have to deal with customs, dues, shipping, exchange, and merchandise return for your money back. On the surface it looks good, but when you try it?
For example, here?s the story of the TWEEKS German Tie Rod Puller priced at $94 on the back of their catalog. Outrageously high!
I found the same German "puller" some where on the Internet in UK. Priced at $35 US Dollars. After inquiring about shipping and customs, the $35 dollar item became $65 item. I have discovered -after all that trouble Tweeks only makes $29.00

Our Goal

9xauto is a distributor for Performance Products, Tweeks, MOMO, Autometer, and many others. We sell over 20 different items engineered and
manufactured by us. Our main success now is 914 and 944. Our main goal is to develop more Porsche products, as well as search and test usefulness of other automotive products in our cars. Porsche's accessories after market , is the most
neglected and smallest market in the whole auto industry, due to Porsche Cars of North America bulling entrepreneurs into abandoning any attempt
for relating their product to "Porsche" in the media. Our site was approved by PCNA.

Bad Publicity on Rennlist boards, and 9xauto.

It angers me to think that when people who have never done business with us force their opinion on to others. In regards to our products or services, I welcome constructive comments about my business. I do not know if you noticed, but nobody has complained that he or she was cheated out of money or never got their merchandise. All customers have a 15 day return privilege. Some times we ship late due to the back order. That's it. We have a functioning phone number, and on the weekend we switch to "cell". I or my staff, monitor E-mail all day without a break. On the weekend it's checked 10 times per day. I welcome any questions and E-mails

Thank you

I have to agree with SANDOVAL here Dan. If I were you, and of course i'm not , and I had the time to do it, I would remove my interior pieces and then paint them with the plastic paint that you can get from 9X or Pep Boys. Because that is all the prestigeparts does. They buy the kit, I belive from the dealer and then they lacquer the pieces and ship them to you. Now I don't know how much those new plastic pieces cost from the dealer, but i'm sure they aren't that cheap, so if you take into consideration that you get to sell all the plastic pieces on ebay or something the cost isn't as high. Also, if in a couple of years you decide you don't like the silver anymore you could just keep the old pieces and reinstall them. Presto back to stock...with the kit from 9X and others they are just stick on and granted you may be able to take them off later...who knows. But I have to say I do like a lot of the alumminum pieces that prestigeparts offers. Anyways back to my original point which I never aluded to in the first place. Wow, big post with not much substance. Woohoo! Oh, ordering from the UK, customs isn't really a problem, you don't pay tax, the shipping isn't as bad as it seems, returns are sort of a problem, but then again so is shipping things five states away. The only downside i've really seen about ordering from the UK is the time change. And since I sleep in pretty late, I can never get ahold of anyone. <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" /> Alright, back to lurk mode.

i have talked to a few dealers (who i probibly shouldnt name) from europe that said for most items they can ship it airmail and they dont haveto pay customs or anything. (there have been other times i bought things and they reported the value to customs as being lower than it is to save me money).... but anyway 9xauto: how about those porsche crests on your shift *****? water slide decals... are they just goingto peel off if you rub them wrong while your driving and leave me with half a porsche crest?
