Post Need answer fast - re: Tensioner roller for Balance Belt

I will shortly be putting on my new water pump - next will be the timing belt, followed by the Balance belt. The tensioner roller I pulled off the car was made of metal - p/n 944-102-217-05. The new one I was sent from Paragon appears to be identical, except it's made of PLASTIC and has a different p/n on the box - 944-102-025-07.

Can anyone tell me if I have the right or wrong part? I don't have access to my PET since the processor conveniently burnt up on my PC a couple of days ago after a fan failure!

Thanks!

I looked it up on PET and the new number came up
as a tensioning roller. No model or year info available. The original number was unknown to the system.

Hope that helped.

Porsche made both a plastic and a metal roller. Either one will work fine.
I had one (forgot which type), and it was switched to the other type. My mechanic noted that he's seen this before.

There isn't that much tension on the roller, so the plastic one won't be stress a lot.
