yee-haw!! got my car back!!
for those of you who might remember, my 944S has been out of commission since March 9 with a broken cam chain tensioner and damaged head. after 3 months of accumulating parts and money, i finally got it back yesterday from the mechanic shop. new motor mounts, all gaskets, seals and belts, and an exhaust leak was fixed.
it's so nice to be back in the 944S!! the engine idles smoothly now, and it purrs without that annoying tick-tick-tick from the exhaust leak. the security of having everything new is pretty nice too. also, i painted the intake manifold and valve cover - looks nice. i'll post pics when i get some.
