Angry Incredible drive and no Porsche

I am out in Colorado on a business trip, staying at the Copper Mountain Resort west of Denver. Took some time off today and drove up highway 82 to Aspen.
Unbelievable road
Unbelievable scenery
Rental car
Actually not a terrible car - a Mitsubishi Diamante (had to fork out $7 extra a day to avoid the Hundai Sonata the company had reserved). It handled the roads OK, had to shift the auto a lot to keep revs up. But what I would have given to have my S2.
Did see a lot of nice cars in the area - several older 911s, a new 911 cab, several new Carrera 4s, a new GT2(!), a perfect Austin Healy 3000, and (yeah!) a very nice 951.
Two other car related observations on these rich person playgrounds - more Audi Allroads than you can shake a stick at and...
both the Vail and Aspen PD drive Saabs with leather and nice rims!
