Alright, I looked through a bunch of threads in search but didn't find the exact info I'm looking for.
I want to buy new wheels cause my fuchs aren't in the greatest condition.
I also want to get some low profile but semi cheap tires that will work for street and semi track use in the short future.
I'm on a discout so I'm gonna go with replica's or something relatively cheaper, the weight doesn't bother me too much =P
Now I would like 17's and was thinking of the replica cup wheels from tire rack.
What is the max width on a wheel and tire I can go without changing anything? I'm thinking a 35 or 40 profile tire.
Any suggestions?

if you put factory rims (or most aftermarket) you will need spacers to compensate for the larger offset of the rim. the rims sold on tire rack (millie miglia) come ready to bolt right on without spacers.
you COULD put 18, but there is supposedly a factory advisory against it
7.5 up front and 9 in the rear is a pretty common combination on this car.
