Just make sure that when you install the coil overs, you torque the mount into the trailing arm well. In some instances the mounts can fail under the added load on them if not torqued properly.

Why do people buy these

Instead of these?

For more than $500 more in price, it seems a bit odd.

Adjustability...the Koni 3012's are double adjustable, bump and rebound.
The Ground Control rears are single, rebound only.
I go back and fourth between rebuilding my M030 front's into double adjustable and adding the rear 3012's or purchasing a KW set up.

Double adjustable but for $500?? Cmon. For thr price of those coilovers you can almost buy a full set of adjustable bilsteins.

Will there be any issues with the ground control coilover setup and a cabrio?
i was told that if I go too stiff I may break or pop out my windshield due to the body overflexing instead of the suspension taking the up the twisting. Did I get sold a bridge or will I be ok with a ground control system. My next upgrade is suspension now that I got my clutch and motor mount replaced.

If Leda's were still available that would be my other option.

i have the 3012's and they are worth it in my opinion- if you are going to coilovers to have coilovers the cheapers are ok. If you are racing and want every bit of adjustablilty the 3012's are great.

I picked up the lower torsion tube bearings and upper tube hard mounts in a group buy a while back, I just need to get the rest ordered and start working.
Waiting for some warmer weather...

no not as of yet- still weighing my options. Ive seen some cars break rear arms using elephant mounts and such and im not sure a car mostly streeted should have that kind of rigidity. I may replace them w/ new stockers though.
