Guys,
I'm thinking of buying my dad's 90 Acura Integra to use as a daily driver. I'm going to start a second job, which will require some driving around town and what not (cell phone sales rep). I have little money right now (hence the two jobs) and don't have the cash to fix the power steering, AC, ABS sensor, alignment/tires, etc., and all that makes for a REALLY crappy daily driver in the summer time when you have to wear a tie and slacks.
So, I'm going to try to talk with pops and see if I can take Argento off the road, store it at $30 or so a month and remove it from my insurance. Drive the Integra for a year or so, make a little cash, and then fix up Argento.
If I tried to sell, I'd get diddly squat for it due to the broken A/C and powersteering, etc.
Just trying to figure out what I should do...

I am almost doing the same thing. My job is taking me to Rhode Island for a year, so I bought a vehicle that can be outside in the winter, and carry me and my stuff from TX to RI.
I felt the same as you. Won't get any money for my car, so I will park it and give it a year.

if you can't afford to drive it yet, don't sell it. i did that with my 951 and have regretted it ever since

I just bought a honda civic and garaged my S2. I started a job involving a bit of driving and didnt want to rack up useless miles on my car. I will reinsure it one day to when I can afford both cars comfortably.

Sounds like a plan Matt. If you sell it, you'll be kicking yourself at sometime in the near future. I sold my 66 Mustang for $300, that was right before they gained collector status and went through the roof for even rough cars. Mine would have been worth close to $2k had I just stored it for about a year.
